Blanc Manger Coco « The Little Treat » is a surprising, irreverent, politically incorrect card game… more sensitive souls may find it vulgar. It’s therefore for adults (or those aged at least 16), who are more likely to laugh until their sides hurt. Better than a workout for your abs – and great for digestion!
It’s the naughtiest of the 3 editions of the game White-manger Coco. Note that the answer cards are compatible with the other editions if you already own them or plan to buy them.

How do you play La petite gâterie?

As it’s the first game for adults conceived by teenagers and made by children, the rules of the game are very simple:
  1. The Question Master, who runs the game, deals 11 white cards to each player (there are 3 to 12 players). These are the answer cards.
  2. They then choose a blue question card: a sentence with a blank to fill in, which they show to the other players.
  3. Each player lays down an answer card to complete the sentence in their own way. The Question Master doesn’t know who played which card (they close their eyes or turn around).
  4. The Question Master reads out each answer and picks the best one, either according to their own taste or based on the other players’ reactions. Usually, the boldest, most unexpected and/or funniest answer wins the point.
  5. The game continues until all the answer cards have been used, usually for 20 to 30 minutes. The player with the most points wins.

Our tips for even more fun!

  • Play after you’ve put the children to bed, though keeping quiet enough not to wake them might be tricky…
  • You don’t necessarily need a “question master”: draw a question card at random, then choose the winner by applause (the children trying to sleep will love that) or take a quiet vote.
  • Creative variation: write your answers on small slips of paper. If 2 or more answers are identical, they cancel each other out… so get creative! Or give everyone 1 point — it’s up to you.
  • Avoid playing with your parents. They might start asking too many questions about whether they raised you right.
