What are the erogenous zones of the vagina to stimulate?

  • The G-spot: this is an area located at the entrance of the vagina. Contrary to what one might imagine, it is not a magic point that delivers pleasure, but an extended area comprising several types of tissue. The G-spot zone is in fact made up of a small area of the vaginal wall, erectile tissue around the urethra, and the junction of the clitoral roots. To locate it, it is very simple: insert your fingers into the vagina and run them along the anterior wall (= towards the belly). You will first feel a smooth area, then a ridged area, then a smooth area again. The ridged area is the G-spot! That is where you need to press to stimulate it.
  • The deep-spot: this little-known area is located right at the back of the vagina, and corresponds to the hollow formed by the vaginal wall where it meets the cervix. To find it, insert your fingers as far as possible inside the vagina, running along the anterior gold posterior wall. Right at the back, you will feel a hollow, then a bulge. The bulge corresponds to the cervix, and the hollow is the deep-spot: that is where gentle pressure should be applied to experience pleasure. There are 2 deep-spots: the most responsive is generally the posterior deep-spot, but an anterior deep-spot also exists.
  • The vaginal walls: contrary to popular belief, the vaginal walls do not contain a great many sensory receptors. They are therefore moderately sensitive (except at the vaginal entrance, which remains highly innervated).

Which sex toys stimulate the vagina?

  • G-spot Sex toys: As we have seen, the G-spot is an area located at the vaginal entrance, just a few centimetres deep. The first characteristic of G-spot sex toys is that they are short. Indeed, an insertable length of 7cm is sufficient to reach the area in question. The G-spot is a zone that responds primarily to pressure, so a firm or semi-firm sex toy should be chosen: a toy that is too flexible will bend and will not be effective enough. Finally, G-spot sex toys are curved, so that a simple rocking movement can amplify the pressure on the area concerned.
  • Deep-spot Sex toys: The common feature of sex toys dedicated to the deep-spot is that they are long enough to reach the back of the vagina. Two types of toys are preferred:
    - sex toys with a tapered and slightly curved tip, to easily nestle into the hollow of the deep-spot
    - wide sex toys, which by dilating the vagina allow the deep-spots to "come down" and thus be stimulated more easily
  • Sex toys for the vaginal wall: the vaginal walls respond primarily to friction, so textured sex toys are the preferred choice, as they help amplify stimulation. Choose toys with a constant diameter along their entire length, which allows for back-and-forth movements and stimulation of the full length of the vagina.
  • Versatile Sex toys: some sex toys can stimulate all 3 zones at once. In that case, choose toys that are fairly long, curved without being angled, and with a tapered tip. By inserting only half of the toy and performing rocking movements, you can stimulate the G-spot. By inserting the whole sex toy, you reach the deep-spot. You can also perform back-and-forth movements to stimulate the vaginal wall.

How to choose a vaginal sex toy?

  • If this is your first sex toy, we recommend going for versatile toys that will allow you to explore your various internal erogenous zones.
  • If you want to stimulate your G-spot but have never found it, opt for a specific sex toy: highly curved, with a large flat head. The contact surface with the vaginal wall will thus be greater, and you will have far less chance of missing the ideal area.
  • If you also want to stimulate the external part of your clitoris, you're in luck: all vibrating toys that can be inserted into the vagina… can also be placed on the clitoris. Otherwise, opt for a rabbit.
  • If you want stimulation that resembles "classic" penetration, choose toys designed to stimulate the vaginal walls and perform back-and-forth movements.

Is it easy to reach orgasm with a vaginal sex toy alone?

Not necessarily, and that is completely normal from a biological standpoint!

According to sexologist Mathilde Magnien, only 5% of people with a clitoris reach orgasm through penetration alone.

For the 75% of women who need clitoral stimulation, it is advisable to choose a "Rabbit" vibro (dual stimulation) gold to combine the vaginal toy with external stimulation.

What is the most popular type of vaginal vibro?

The "Rabbit" (dual stimulation) is the clear favourite. The figures from the 2024 Customer Knowledge Survey (based on 11,569 customers) show that the Rabbit vibro was purchased by 44.7% of customers, far ahead of classic dildos (24.4%).

It is the preferred choice for combining depth and surface pleasure.

Are there vaginal sex toys recommended for rehabilitation (post-pregnancy)?

Yes, Kegel balls are essential for the pelvic floor.

Vaginal health is a major concern: 33% of women experience issues with their pelvic floor, and 80% of young mothers wish to regain the sensations they had before pregnancy.

Regular use of geisha balls or Kegel balls allows you to tone the pelvic floor effectively. It is recommended to consult a doctor or midwife before use.
