The name Bijoux Indiscrets was borrowed from the eponymous libertine novel published anonymously in the 18th century, later revealed to be the work of Denis Diderot. Its plot was the primary source of inspiration for building the brand's identity. The story follows various protagonists as they move through a phantasmagorical universe filled with voluptuousness and sensuality — a veritable theatre where all fantasies are fulfilled, accessed by the characters through a magic ring. The very same ring found in the brand's logo.
