Intimate lubricants, your well-being and pleasure partners

Whether for a solo session, or with one or more partners, the use of an intimate lubricant is recommended to increase the pleasure and take care of your intimacy.  The lubricant is a protective gel that facilitates penetration vaginally, anally, with a penis, fingers or a sextoy. It is useful for people with intimate dryness or those who are looking for more comfort and want to avoid irritating their intimate flora. Using an intimate lubricant makes intercourse more pleasant and increases your pleasure.

How to choose your intimate lubricant?

There are 3 types of lubricants to adapt to your needs:

  • Water-based intimate lubricant: this is the lubricant that can be used in all situations. Compatible with private parts, sex toys and condoms. It is easier to clean than the others, its advantage is to reduce friction and reduce discomfort by increasing pleasure. Its only drawbacks will be its limited duration of effectiveness and the fact that it does not treat vaginal dryness.
  • Oil-based intimate lubricant: Made with natural vegetable oil and other ingredients, these intimate lubricants provide longer-lasting lubrication than water-based ones. Oil-based lubricants also have moisturizing properties and help improve comfort and pleasure during intimate intercourse. However, they can be difficult to clean and can damage latex condoms and silicone sex toys.
  • Silicone-based intimate lubricant: this is the one that will have the longest lasting effectiveness and the best glide. Silicone-based lubricants are water-resistant, so perfect to use in the shower! They are also recommended for sensitive skin. The main disadvantages of silicone-based lubricants are that they can stain sheets; their use is not recommended with silicone sex toys and condoms.

How to use an intimate lubricant?

Intimate lubricant is to be used before sexual intercourse on the intimate parts: at the entrance to the vagina, anus or directly on the penis, finger or sextoy. Wash your hands then take a small dose of product and apply it with a delicate massage. Then enjoy the increased sensation and increased pleasure!
