What are the female erogenous zones?

As we know, women have many erogenous zones, and there are toys designed for each and every one of them!

  • The clitoral glans: this area is a small swelling located at the upper junction of the labia minora. Shaped like a tiny button, it is more or less completely hidden beneath a fold of skin called the clitoral hood. It is an extremely sensitive zone containing around 8,000 sensory receptors — in short, it is an absolute pleasure powerhouse!
  • The g-spot: located a few centimetres inside, on the anterior wall of the vagina, the g-spot is an area that includes part of the vaginal wall, erectile tissue surrounding the urethra, and the junction of the clitoral roots. It is a true complex that, when correctly stimulated with pressure, can produce intense pleasure.
  • The deep spot: right at the back of the vagina lies a highly sensitive zone! Where the vaginal wall meets the cervix, it forms a recess at the front and at the back — that's the deep spot!
  • The vaginal walls: contrary to popular belief, the vaginal walls are not necessarily the most sensitive zones — they have far fewer sensory receptors than the rest of the genital area. That said, they can be pleasantly stimulated through friction.
  • The anal zone: the entire anal area is highly innervated and sensitive. Moreover, the wall separating the vagina from the anus is very thin, meaning any anal stimulation will also be felt vaginally. Certain vaginal zones, such as the posterior deep spot, are even easier to reach via the anal area.

What types of external stimulation are there?

Clitoral stimulators are toys designed for external use, available in many shapes and using a variety of technologies.

  • Vibrations: the classic option — simply place the sex toy on the clitoris or the clitoral hood (depending on your sensitivity) and let the vibrations do their work. A tried-and-tested favourite!
  • Friction: these sex toys — fewer in number — use one or more silicone flaps to move back and forth across the clitoral glans. The stimulation achieved is similar to what you can do with your fingers… but at a much faster pace! A great alternative for those who find vibrations too ticklish.
  • Contactless: these toys, invented in the 2010s for women, are easy to recognise: they have a hollow tip that sits around the clitoral glans without touching it directly. Air movements or sonic waves then stimulate the clitoris. This revolutionary technology delivers quick, multiple orgasms.

What types of internal stimulation are there?

  • G-spot: these toys are always short and very curved. They allow you to rock back and forth to apply pressure to the g-spot. Vibrating or not, opt for a firm toy that will help you amplify the pressure.
  • Deep Spot: these toys are long and have a slightly curved, tapered tip. You can also choose female sex toys with a wider diameter, which can also stimulate these zones.
  • Vaginal walls: we recommend choosing sex toys whose surface features ridges or varied textures, to maximise friction during thrusting. Vibrating or not — it's entirely up to you!
  • Versatile: longer than a g-spot sex toy, more curved than a deep-spot toy, these sex toys can stimulate all vaginal zones. Opt for vibrating toys, which you can also use on the clitoral glans.

For stimulating the female anal zone

  • plugs: these are bullet-shaped sex toys with a narrowed neck. Once inserted, they stay in place and stimulate the anal opening, leaving your hands free for other play. Wearing a plug also tightens the vaginal opening, intensifying sensations during penetration.
  • dildos: these phallic-shaped toys have a wide, flat base that acts as a safety stop during insertion. They allow you to stimulate the entire anal area through thrusting. When their insertable length exceeds 15 cm, insertion can indirectly stimulate the vaginal deep spot.
  • anal beads: made up of a string of beads of varying sizes, inserting these chains provides particularly intense stimulation of the anal opening. As pleasure builds, slowly withdraw the beads to amplify the sensations.
