A sex toy that has modernised itself

The cockring is no recent invention! Its origins date back to the 12th century, in China's imperial city. It was first created for the emperor, and it was made… from goat eyelids. Fortunately, craftsmen quickly began using other materials such as ivory. A few centuries later, rubber entered the market: penile rings became stretchable and more comfortable.

The different types of cockrings

Two main categories of rings can be distinguished:

• "classic" rings, non vibrating, which are placed around the genitals and can have various effects (maintaining erection, sensitising the penis, delaying ejaculation…)

Focus on non vibrating rings

• figure-of-8 rings: the part with the larger diameter is placed around the testicles, while the narrower part goes around the shaft. This combines the effects of both previous types of rings, while also sensitising the testicles.

Focus on vibrating rings

It's the same principle (and the same effects, depending on how they are placed) as no vibrating rings... except that a motor is added. The point? The vibrations!
