This practice comes from Japan. Also known as "body-to-body massage", it has become increasingly popular here over the past few years. The idea is simple: coat your body in this exceptionally slippery gel. Unlike a traditional massage, though, your whole body gets involved. Sensations guaranteed!
And how exactly does it work?
- Mix your Nuru massage gel with approximately 50% water in a container. To avoid a hot-and-cold sensation, unless that’s what you’re after, use lukewarm water.
- Adjust the amounts of water and gel to get the glide you want.
- Prepare a space for your fun with a waterproof sheet, plastic-coated side up. Your "playground" could also be the shower or bath.
- Coat each other’s bodies with the massage gel, and you’re ready to go!
- Apply as much pressure as you like, depending on which part of your body you use: breasts or buttocks for a gentle touch, elbows or knees for more targeted pressure.
- Simply rinse with water. System Jo massage gel washes off very easily without leaving any residue.
