Pour le plaisir, the film about the invention of the Womanizer

The film that tells the story of the invention of the century (= the creation of the Womanizer) is released in cinemas on 6 May with Alexandra Lamy and François Cluzet in the role of the genius inventor.

Fanny and Tom have been a united couple for twenty years, convinced they have found their balance. But their daily life is turned upside down the day an unexpected confession surfaces: Fanny has never experienced an orgasm.

Destabilised, Tom, a passionate inventor, decides to turn this confession into a personal challenge. Convinced he can find a solution, he embarks on the creation of an object capable of revolutionising female pleasure. Together, they set off on an adventure as unlikely as it is moving, one that will profoundly call their relationship into question… and take them much further than they ever imagined!

With humour and sensitivity, the film addresses a still-taboo subject, while shedding light on the difficulties of communicating about desire, even within a couple, as well as the persistent gaps in sexual education.
