It was Halloween. I (12) was looking for something my girlfriend (14) could wear for the occasion. We stumbled upon a rather luxurious-looking outfit that resembled characters from the Mortal Kombat franchise. It was green, and I said, “Nah, I ain’t with all that. They gotta respect her crippin, cuz.” That’s when the cute-looking vendor told me to come back next year. Would come again, 9/10
