The three Ps: petite, practical and portable 🪶
Choose a small, practical, feather-light toy. Unless you’re a sex toy fanatic, there’s no need to give up half your suitcase for it. If you want to save space, there are plenty of tiny, lightweight toys to choose from. Here are a few ideas to inspire you:
Vibrators: leave them behind? ⚡
For travel, your best bet is a non-vibrating toy. You could choose a glass sex toy or a silicone one, for example. If you absolutely want something that vibrates, take your toy in your hand luggage, but NEVER in checked baggage. The lithium battery in your beloved toy won’t cope with the pressure in the hold.
Quick tip: to stop your vibrator switching on in your bag, choose a battery-powered toy and take the batteries out beforehand, or run its charge down before you leave.
Metal is not dead 🤘 But you should still leave it behind...
If you don’t want to set off the X-ray scanner, we’d advise against taking toys or accessories containing metal or stainless steel. Planning to tie Emile to the bars of your hotel bed? Go for bondage tape instead of packing the handcuffs!
Hygiene 🫧
To stop security staff touching your beloved toy with grubby hands, or placing it directly on the conveyor belt, put it in a small clear bag, then tuck that into a pouch for your naughty essentials.
Keep things slippery! 🏄♂️
As you probably know, a good lube is pretty much essential for any fun session! If you want to take it in your hand luggage, make sure you choose a size under 100 mL. For use with toys, a water-based natural lube is ideal! And guess what? It comes in a 25 mL size. Cute, right?
